After earning her RN degree from Barnes Hospital School of Nursing in 1983, Catherine completed her BSN at the University of Missouri, Saint Louis, and her MSN in Gero-Psychiatric Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania. In 1995, she founded her first licensed home health care agency, focusing on medically-intensive care for children in their homes.
